God’s kingdom has come near.
Jesus announced that God was not absent or indifferent. His good rule was moving toward a wounded world. The invitation was to turn around, trust the news and begin living as if God really were king.
THE GOSPEL / GOOD NEWS
Before it became a religious category, the gospel was news: God had acted, a kingdom was arriving, and Jesus was asking people to trust him and follow.
START WITH THE PERSON
Before the institutions, arguments, labels and accumulated religious culture—there is Jesus himself.
He entered ordinary places. He ate with people respectable religion kept at a distance. He touched the sick, welcomed children, confronted hypocrisy, forgave sins and spoke about God as if he knew him from the inside.
Jesus announced that God was not absent or indifferent. His good rule was moving toward a wounded world. The invitation was to turn around, trust the news and begin living as if God really were king.
We recognize what is wrong with the world, but Jesus insists that the fracture also runs through us. We harm and are harmed. We hide, accuse, grasp and make ourselves the center. We cannot repair that rupture by becoming slightly more religious.
Jesus did not remain safely above the damage. He entered it. Rejected by power and abandoned by friends, he was crucified. Christians believe he carried human sin and its consequence willingly—absorbing what separates us from God rather than returning violence for violence.
His followers said the tomb was empty and that they encountered him alive. Christianity stands or falls here. If Jesus rose, then his announcement was not extinguished: forgiveness is real, death is not ultimate and a renewed creation has already begun.
THE INVITATION
Jesus’ invitation is personal: trust me. Turn from the life you have made without me. Receive forgiveness. Learn my way. Follow me into a life reconciled to God and opened toward other people.
You do not need to manufacture certainty before speaking honestly to him. You can begin with something as simple as:
Jesus, if you are who you claimed to be, help me see you clearly. Forgive me. Teach me to trust you and follow you.
That prayer is not a formula. It is the beginning of a conversation.
KEEP LISTENING
I’m still making the videos and conversations that will explore these claims carefully. Follow along and I’ll send the work when it is ready.
