I like to think interesting thoughts.
I’ve spent much of my career in technology and sales, not theology or academia. I became a Christian at 29, during a season when a young family, responsibility, and several other things came together and changed the direction of my life.
I still have questions. I do not have neat answers tied around all of them, and I’ve come to believe that is all right. There is room for thought, mystery, disagreement, and surprise.
Things Exist is unabashedly centered on Jesus. It is also open, wide, and a conversation waiting to happen.
WHY JESUS?
Not a religious mascot.
Not an escape from thought.
A person who demands attention.
Jesus lived roughly two thousand years ago. He held no political office, commanded no army, and left no writing in his own hand. Yet his life and claims continue to shape the world. Things Exist keeps returning to him because he deserves more than dismissal, inherited familiarity, or a Sunday school shortcut.
